Snow sports retailers are facing a challenge. While ski resort revenues continue to grow through higher prices and expanded revenue streams, retailers are suffering from a declining customer base and less participation. In this paper, we propose a solution that enables retailers to take control of their own growth by directing the growth of the sport themselves. In this proposed solution, retailers can increase their customer base, grow snow sports participation, improve the customer experience and have a positive impact on the health of the industry. We also show how management companies like Urban Snow play a critical role in the effective development, deployment and operation of the solution.
